Privacy Notice

PromptySites, trading as PromptlySites.in, is the data controller for the personal data described here. This notice explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how to exercise your rights.

Last updated August 5, 2026.

Who we are

PromptySites (“we”, “us”) operates PromptlySites.in. We decide how and why your personal data is processed, which makes us the data controller. You can reach us about anything in this notice at support@promptlysites.in.

What we collect and why

  • Account data — email address and login credentials managed by our authentication provider, so we can create your account and sign you in. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
  • Site content — the prompts you write and the generated copy, theme and images for each site, so we can build, store, preview and publish your sites. Legal basis: performance of our contract.
  • Subscription data — your plan, status, renewal dates and the customer and subscription identifiers returned by our payment provider, so we can give you the access you paid for. Legal basis: performance of our contract. Card details are collected and stored by Paddle, not by us.
  • Support and notification data — messages you send us and the billing notifications we send you. Legal basis: performance of our contract and our legitimate interest in supporting customers.
  • Technical data — IP address, device and browser information, and basic usage and error logs, so we can keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure, working product.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your prompts or site content to train our own models.

Who we share it with

  • Service providers who host our application and database, deliver transactional email, and generate site content on our behalf — all acting on our instructions.
  • Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of subscriptions, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
  • Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, where needed.
  • Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.

Some of these providers operate outside your country. Where personal data leaves the UK or EEA we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

Account, site and subscription data is kept while your account is open and for up to 12 months after you close it, so you can come back and so we can resolve disputes. Billing records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Technical logs are kept for a short operational period. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or port it elsewhere, and you can withdraw any consent you have given. Email support@promptlysites.in and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EEA and you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to your local supervisory authority.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, row-level access rules in our database so users can only reach their own records, and restricted administrative access.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in, remember whether you have completed the product tour, and secure the Service. These are required for the site to work. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the Service will stop working if you do.

Changes

We will update this notice when our processing changes and revise the date at the top. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email.
